Your work stays yours.

Local-first is not a feature we bolted on. It is how we decide what to build.

  • Your files stay home

    The apps do their work on your computer. Your footage, documents and drafts are not uploaded to us.

  • Offline when it can be

    If a job can run without a connection, it should. vp1 makes a whole film offline.

  • Only what is needed

    When an app does talk to us — for its licence, for example — it sends a short list of technical details and no personal data.

  • Your hardware, your pace

    No queue in someone else's data centre. The work runs on the machine on your desk.
